Stone Crab Trap Tag FAQ

What information is printed on each tag?

Each GEARXO stone crab trap tag includes your full name, street address, city and state, and your Florida Recreational Stone Crab Trap Registration number sequence (e.g. S-123456789-1 through S-123456789-5).

How many tags come in an order?

Each order includes a set of 5 sequentially numbered tags. Florida recreational harvesters may use up to 5 stone crab traps, so one order covers a full set.

Are these official FWC tags?

No. GEARXO is not affiliated with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. We manufacture custom physical tags that display the registration information you provide. You are responsible for obtaining your own Florida Recreational Stone Crab Trap Registration from FWC.

Where do I get my registration number?

Your Florida Recreational Stone Crab Trap Registration is obtained through the official Florida licensing system. Contact FWC or visit the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission website for current registration requirements.

What size are the tags?

GEARXO stone crab trap tags are 45mm × 55mm, printed in a durable format designed for marine environments.

What material are the tags made from?

Tags are 3D printed using durable materials designed to withstand saltwater exposure. Built to remain legible and intact through a full season of use.

Can I customize the information on my tags?

Yes — the information printed on your tags is entirely based on what you enter during checkout. Enter your name, address, and Florida Recreational Stone Crab Trap Registration number exactly as you want them to appear.

What if I make a mistake in my order?

Tags are produced based on the information you submit. Please double-check all fields before completing checkout. If you notice an error immediately after ordering, contact us as soon as possible.

How long does production take?

Tags are made to order. Production time may vary, especially during peak pre-season demand. Order early to avoid delays before the October 15 stone crab season opener.
