Ordering & Production FAQ

How do I place an order?

Visit the product page for the item you want, fill out any required information fields, and click the checkout button. All orders are processed through Shopify's secure checkout. See our How to Order Stone Crab Trap Tags guide for a step-by-step walkthrough.

Are your products made to order?

Yes. Most GEARXO™ products are made to order. This means production begins after your order is placed and payment is confirmed. Production time may vary during peak pre-season demand. Order early to avoid delays.

How long does production take?

Production time varies by product and order volume. During peak pre-season periods (July–August for lobster, September–October for stone crab), production times may be longer. We recommend ordering at least 2–3 weeks before you need your gear.

Can I get a discount for ordering early?

Yes. Order stone crab trap tags before August 1 and save 25% with code KWTag2026.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover, as well as Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay through Shopify checkout.

Can I pick up my order locally?

Yes. Local pickup is available at our partner retail location in the Florida Keys. Select the pickup option at checkout. You'll receive a notification when your order is ready.

Do you ship outside Florida?

Yes. We ship to any US address. Enter your shipping address at checkout.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

Because our products are made to order, changes or cancellations may not be possible once production has begun. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to make a change.

What if I entered incorrect information on my order?

Your tags and custom gear are produced exactly as entered. If you notice an error immediately after ordering, contact us right away. We cannot guarantee corrections once production has started.

How will I know when my order ships?

You'll receive an email confirmation when your order is placed and a shipping notification with tracking information when your order ships.

Do you offer returns or refunds?

Because our products are custom and made to order, we generally cannot accept returns. If there is a production error on our part, contact us and we'll make it right.
